Travis Walton (born April 23 1957) is an American logger who claims to have been abducted by a UFO on November 5, 1975, while working with a logging crew in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in Arizona. Walton could not be found, but reappeared after five days of intensive searches.

The Walton case received considerable mainstream publicity and remains one of the best-known instances of alleged alien abduction. UFO historian Jerome Clark writes that “Few abduction reports have generated as much controversy” as the Walton case. It is furthermore one of the very few alien abduction cases with corroborative eyewitnesses, and one of few abduction cases where the time allegedly spent in the custody of aliens plays a rather minor role in the overall account.

UFO researchers Jenny Randles and Peter Houghe write that “Neither before or since has an abduction story” begun in the manner related by Walton and his coworkers. Furthermore, the Walton case is singular in that “the victim vanished for days on end with police squads out searching … it is an atypical “Close Encounter: Fourth Kind” … which bucks the trend so much that it worried some investigators; others defend it staunchly.” (Randles and Hough,)

My sister is dating and living with a guy in Missouri who has a daughter with an ex g/f. My sister just called me and said that she has to come home because he was told by the judge and his attorney that he will lose ALL rights to his daughter because she is living with him and they are not married. You can call that BS with out a web site unless you have a deranged, drug addicted sister, no judge in Missouri or anyplace else would get that involved in a relationship between people involved in a divorce or custody battle. All cases or adjudicated on a case by case basis so the type of Information you are looking for would only be in the judges mind and not controlled by law. Your sister would have to be one of the most incorrigible people in Missouri for a judge to order a separation before a custody order, either the Girl Friend is lying or the boyfriend wants to get rid of your sister.~

does any know the child custody law for an unmarried couple in florida that apply to a parent leave state with the child?
i am leaving my kid’s dad and the only family i have is out of state so i need to go there until i get back on my feet but i am afraid of the repercussions of that. i need to know what the laws are for this situation.
we have never been married. can i leave the state without his permission and then go to court later? that is my only way out of this and i don’t know what to do.

The only state where a man has ANY rights automatically at the time of birth, providing the couple weren’t married, is Arizona.

If you are in florida you have 100% custody of that child and may go where you please. Unless you have a court order assigning child support and visitation and custody you don’t need to apply for anything, yu can just up and leave when ever you want. There are ways he could try and stop you such as an emergency hearing, but the judge will require a DNA test before he will even entertain anything like that.

If I really had to go be with some family I would sort it out in court later. You may want to research which states allow you to only file in the county the child resides. I know Georgia is like that.

Yes, you do have parental rights. The problem is how do you persuade a 17-year old to visit you when she doesn’t want to? Just wait this out. She will contact you when she is ready.
The fact that the girl refuses to see you now doesn’t diminish your obligation to support her.

I am a single father with two kids, we split a year ago, she has given sole physical custody to me in two separate MSA’s, am trying to finalize the divorce and she is now contesting it saying that we have reconciled(which has not happened) and wants to renegotiate custody. I reside and am filing for divorce in Virginia, what are the odds she can take the kids now after a year of this arrangement? She currently has reasonable and liberal visitation and pays child support.

The most common way used by women is a false allegation of child sexual abuse.
