How do you get legal custody of a child?
I would like to apply for legal custody of my grandson in Ontario, Canada, both parents are unfit, how do I start the process
You start by hiring an attorney. Then you pay the private eye he hires to find out everything possible about their dirty dealings.
You have to have some real proof that they are unfit. Not just your opinion. And even then, they may just order the parents into parenting classes and return the child to them.
Quite frankly if I thought a relative of mine was being abused or neglected I would have already called the police to get them out of the situation immediately. I'm sure your motives will look suspect since you have yet to do that. So you need to go to an attorney and follow his advice.

Go to family court, or hire a lawyer.

My child’s father and I have do not have a court order visitation.
We have a seven year old child. She visits him basically on the weekends. Since he moved in with his girlfriend with whom he;s been having relationship with while we were together and having our child sleep there and with them he and her have been doing things to spite me but hurt our child. He drops her off whenever he feels like it. I go to pick her up from school twice ans she wasn’t there. I b=never got a phone call. I called him numerous times with now answer. I try to get her into a better school but he didn’t sign the papers. She was being awarded by her school. I ask that he bring her as he does have her that Saturday but he never did because he knew I would be there. She was looking forward to it. Whenever she comes home from being with him she acts a little different. She follows me around where ever I go. She doesnt want me to leave. Sometimes she’s sad because he tells her things.
Financially he was want helping for almost seven years. He started a month before her seventh birthday and before he did he told her how I want him to go to jail because he has no money and money more important that her to me. It took me an hour to calm her down over the phone. Emotionally I am tired because I tried to do everything that’s best for her and he feels on that. He threaten to walk away if I take him to court.. He says it over and over again but he’s hurting her now.. What do I do.
