Is it fair that American men are only concerned about their parental rights in child custody, yes or no? A divorce book for man say that fathers that is written by American lawyers who are experts in child custody say, that father should only be concerned about their children’s best interest.
Totally not fair.

Most men are not good fathers and should have no rights concerning their children. The mother should be in charge of whether fathers get any contact with their children

Typically, divorces involve two people thinking they are right and the other one is wrong. Therefore, it stands to reason that men (as well as women) demand custody of the kid because they think they are the good parent and the other is a shiftless bastard/bitch of the first water. Leaving your kid with someone you consider to be a scumbag is certainly not in the kid’s best interest.

Your question confuses me. What else is child custody except parental rights? And I’m not sure what you’re saying is fair or unfair …
Any father who believes his child or children are going to be in an unsafe environment has an obligation to seek custody. If he doesn’t prevail in the court room, then he has an obligation to keep close tabs on his ex-wife and his children to assure that they’re as safe as can be managed.
