*False allegations are also documented as having been used against women in custody battles, but to a much smaller degree, for three reasons:
1. There are a host of anti-male domestic violence programs and laws.
2. Women are the primary initiators of divorce (I’ve seen two stats: 66% and 75%), and thus more likely to make the allegation upon separation.
3. Women are much more likely to be believed.
Lack of court-enforced visitation affects women as well as men!
Other issues not covered in this video:
1. Sexual harassment – see Thugt1cian’s video on it:

2. Paternity leave
3. Social liberation from sole role of primary breadwinner

iFeminists on false rape allegations:

You may be familiar with an 9% stat; this was part of a study conducted by the FBI that only included how many accusers dropped the allegations, and did not include how many men were found innocent. You may be familiar with a 2% false rape allegation stat. This was popularized by Susan Brownmiller in her book “Against Our Will,” but was not based upon any empirical study, but upon the long-held feminist ertion that “women don’t lie about sexual abuse.” The 40% false rape allegation stat comes from a study by Dr. Eugene Kanin and included both the number of dropped charges and the men who were found innocent, but her methodology only contained a pool of roughly 100 people. The 60% false rape allegation stat comes from a study by the U.S. Dept. of Special Investigations; its methodology included 556 people, was reviewed by 3 independent reviewers, and the resulting stat of 60% was compared to numerous police precincts around the U.S. See “The Myth of Male Power,” chapter 14: The Politics of Rape, for more.

Alright, about time …
Alright, about time someone nailed a vid with the core issues. I’d give you money if you needed it to make more vids.
Problem 1. At 3:53 you talk about chivilous judges – correct – but more importantly: Judges fear losing their jobs because they’re well aware an army of GOV’T funded feminists will picket outside his court if he s up.
So, a reminder – the opposition (feminists) are floating in billions of tax dollars to run ads, protest, lobby, & intimidate.
Awesome job!

The next-to-most …
The next-to-most cited false rape stat is the 40% false rape stat, the result of a study by Dr. Eugene Kanin. However, her methodolgy only used a pool of roughly 100 people (as opposed to 556), and was not compared to police reports around the U.S. In addition, her study was older than the U.S. Dept. of Special Investigations study, which means the rate of false rape allegations might have likely increased since then. Whatever study you choose, I’d say at least 50% of accusations are false.
June 30th, 2009 at 1:45 am
It studied 556 rape …
It studied 556 rape cases, and unlike other rape studies (like the false yet oft-cited 9% FBI stat) evaluated both the # of accusations dropped, and the # of men found innocent. Each case was reviewed by three independent reviewers, and if ALL 3 independently agreed the accusation was false, it was labelled false, resulting in the 60% stat. For good measure, the stat was compared to the reports of numerous police precints around the U.S., and was found to be very similar, if not dead on.

“The Myth of Male …
“The Myth of Male Power,” by Dr. Warren Farrell, chapter 14: The Poliitics of Rape. It examines the study conducted by the U.S. Dept. of Special Investigations. You can also read “Until Proven Innocent,” a book about the Duke Lacrosse case. On pages 374-375, it shows several rape studies and police reports, which show roughly half of all rape accusations are false. To my examination, the U.S. Dept. of Special Investigations’s 60% stat used the most convincing methodology to reach its conclusion.
