My sister in law has a 2 yr old daughter whom my husband and I help provide for at the moment due to the fact that she is incarcerated. The childs grandma has temp custody of her. The father of the child is now seeking full custody of her and he isnt even employed. Due to the fact that the childs mother is in prison for the moment and even though the grandmother has temp custody, what are the chances the father will recieve custody?
The court will make certain conditions to met before he can take the child. From what i read, all he needs is sufficient employment, and he should be able to take the child.
