Aunt has custody of 17 year old son, but he lives in another house with his mother?
I pay support to the aunt as the judge gave custody to the aunt because the mother was mental. We live 2,500 miles apart. Do I have any arguement when my child support is reviewed?
does mental mean anything ?Everyone is mental ( except for me ,of course )

What in the heck is he doing back with mom? If custody was given to the aunt and hasn't been revoked then the mom hasn't done what she needed to do to get well??? I would contact the courts/dcfs what ever it takes to keep your son safe!!
If I am understanding this right you are paying child support to the aunt for your son…..Does the aunt live close? And is the aunt holding and distributing this money to your son so that mom doesn't have access to it? If this is not the case then yes…..but if aunt is maintaining the position of financially supporting your son then it would be safer going thru her then mom….If mom has mental issues then most likely your son is seeing very little of that monies.

No. If he is your son and the aunt cares for him as in house clothes food etc. your responsible to to help them and if you feel you could do better offer for him to live with you and you can fully support him. Your lucky to only have to pay a portion

There may be an agreement that he stays with his mom but your Aunt makes decisions and controls the money. At his age it would be very difficult to force him to stay somewhere he didn’t want to be. So unless you think he is in danger,or your Aunt tells you she does not agree with this situation, just pay up and stay out of it.If you really think this is not a good situation for your child you can always go back to court, but you will have to pay the support to someone.
