How would a mother feel when she gave custody of her baby daughter to her?
How would a mother feel when she gave custody of her baby daughter to her father because she could not care for her? One year latter she wanted to see her daughter for the first time and discovered that the father had the mothers paternal rights legally terminated for abandonment and she can’t see her daughter any more.
Well honestly I wouldn’t know why she would go back at all after a year when you have a child it is your responsibility to be there not just abandon the child, for the father who got the rights taken away Congratulations, I would have done the same thing.

No one knows how that mother feels about it all but I would think that if the mother absolutely cannot care for the child and gives the father custody that the mother would at least come see the child as much as possible. I couldn’t imagine just leaving my child with the father and never going back until a year later.

I find it hard to believe a mothers rights were terminated after only a year and w/o her knowledge. I know a few women who have tried to have a fathers rights terminated after they had not seen their kids for 3 or 4 years and never paid child support or anything and could not have it done.
