Should a mother lose custody of her 10-year-old daughter because she refused to allow her to see her father ye?
Should a mother lose custody of her 10-year-old daughter because she refused to allow her to see her father yes or no? When she was ten years old her father filed a paternity suit against her, to see access to his daughter. The mother does not want child support, and the father is a total stranger to his daughter. The father did not even know, of her existence until she was ten years old.
The mother is (in most cases) going to get sole custody of their child. There is a maternal bond between your child and you that cannot be broken.

It is NOT the father’s fault that he didn’t know about his child until she was 10 years old!! The mother in the situation did not consider the child’s right to know and love her father. I feel that is NOT looking after the child’s best interests. If the dad wants visitation and the mom refuses to give it to him then she should have to answer to a judge. The judge may decide it would be in the child’s best interest to have her live with her dad.

Absolutely. I don’t understand why women think they should be the ones in control. A judge *should* decide the amount of child support, and visitation. I think women need to take another look because they could NOT produce children without the men. This BS about "well, I carried him/her!" doesn’t mean anything. I’m sure any guy would love the opportunity to be pregnant but that is against nature; and the guy suffers JUST as much as the girl does during pregnancy.
