what can you do when kids are in school and joint custody is involved but mother left for 9 mths.?

what do you do if you have joint legal custody and mother up and left for 9 months. later to return. and decides she wants to return to her visitations but because she was not her to help make decisions in the education of the children, and now the children are in school. and her visitations are saturday-wednesday but she does not want to take the kids to school because it is to far of distance from where she lives? what can you do so that it is not to interrupt there education?

Regardless of where the mother went and for how long, if she has legal court orders stating what day(s) she is allowed to have the children, then she gets to have the children. Unfortunately, there’s nothing that you can immediately do to prevent that.

When she has the children, it is her responsibility to ensure that they are cared for. This includes receiving an education. If she fails to ensure that the children go to school, then she can be criminally charged for that.

Your best bet is to talk to your lawyer about the situation you are now finding yourself in.
