Lesbian vs. Christian Custody Battle

Response to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Enj8S1GdiWo I don't think the fact that one is a lesbian and one is a Christian has anything to do with the topic at hand. It should also be noted that I do NOT agree with the fact that people are considering this little girl "brainwashed" because she has been exposed to lesbianism and are wanting to make sure she gets the Christian upbringing she "deserves". In short, from what I've seen so far, I think both sides are somewhat crazy. …

    That would be very …
    That would be very interesting.

    It would only be …
It would only be interesting on whether the court would rule in favor the bomb throwing jihadist or the lesbian.

    Lol. I still say …
Lol. I still say “i swear to god” but not in a way of tying to get someone else to trust me. I say it out of frustration or anger and if Clay is ever around me, he’ll say “which one” to which I reply “Zues” or “all of’em”.

I wonder how this story would have played out had each of the women been other labels (Muslim, Atheist, Jewish, any other label you can think of, religious or not).

    Absolutely! Your …
Absolutely! Your particular flavor of imaginary father should have nothing to do with an adoption fight. That’s why I hate when people say “I swear to god” and things like that. Actually means their more likely to lie, IMO. If they were telling the truth and making sense, their story would stand on its own.

On one hand I want …
On one hand I want to say that she grew close to the child and it’s hard for her to let go. However, she never talked about adoption and I can’t remember if she waited some length of time to try to get custody of the child.

However, I do think it’s pathetic that they are using the Christian card to try to make the lesbian look more mental than she might already appear.

    It’s absurd to me …
It’s absurd to me too, but maybe not for the same reasons.

Is this kid made out of gold or something? I work at a children’s hospital, and really, I don’t see the attraction to kids. Maybe because I don’t have any, I dunno, but if bio-mom wants it. There are 3 billion more kids on the planet to love, and there is more than one way to get your own bio-kid to love and nobody can take away.
    1) Why are you fighting over a child, anyway?
    2) Why are you fighting over this child specifically?

    I knew a coworker …
I knew a coworker back in 1993 who invited us over for dinner who was in a gay relationship and the child was from my coworkers first marriage. Both women were very nice people and loved their child and gave him very good care. The secular court system screws many people over. I agree with buffaloscot’s comment.
