After losing a six-figure job, they atty general refused to lower my support on the grounds that it had been reveiwed only 2 months prior. Now they’ve taken what would have been a nice tax return – which the mother will never even get anyway.

Until they can be held legally responsible, or liable in civil court, the state agencies are just going to run roughshod over whomever they need to to collect the most dollars. There is no such thing as civil rights in child support court.

The Government makes mistakes all the time and will continue as long as there is zero accountability. This happens all the time and simply put makes it harder for a father to be a father. Ruined credit, license suspension, passport denial, professional license suspension, jail time are all realities for the father who is the ruined by a government mistake.
